About Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari sits at the meeting point of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean, at the very bottom of the subcontinent. Yes — it is the most practical short trip on this list. Roughly 250 km from Kottayam, about five to six hours by road, so a single night is enough to catch both the sunset and the following sunrise. Two nights lets you add Padmanabhapuram Palace and the temples on the way.
Do you handle school groups to Kanyakumari?
Yes, it is one of the most common school and college destinations we plan, partly because the distance is manageable and partly because there is genuine educational content — the memorial, the palace and the geography of the three seas meeting.
