The quote is the price.
Stays, transport, entry fees, taxes, driver allowance — all of it inside the first number we send you. We would rather lose a booking to a cheaper-looking quote than have you doing arithmetic at a hotel counter on day three.
About Favis Kerala
In twenty-five years we have never handed a traveller to a call centre. You get a name, a mobile number, and someone who answers it — at 6am at the airport, and at 11pm when the train is late.
How we got here
We came into this business in 1997, on the unglamorous side of it — arranging vehicles, chasing hotel confirmations, standing at a bus door at five in the morning counting heads.
That is where you learn what actually ruins a holiday. It is almost never the destination. It is the hotel that isn't what the photograph showed. The extra at the counter that was never in the quote. The agent who was warm right up until the payment cleared, and unreachable after.
So in 2007 we started Travelmate Packages to do it the other way round: quote everything upfront, build the plan around the people travelling rather than the season, and stay reachable for the whole journey. Word moved the way it does in Kerala — one family telling another.
Eighteen years and more than ten thousand travellers later, we became Favis Kerala. New name. Same phone numbers, same people answering them.

What twenty-five years taught us
Stays, transport, entry fees, taxes, driver allowance — all of it inside the first number we send you. We would rather lose a booking to a cheaper-looking quote than have you doing arithmetic at a hotel counter on day three.
Sixty schoolchildren need a completely different Munnar than a couple on honeymoon — different pace, different stops, different hotel, different things that can go wrong. We plan around who is actually travelling, not around the destination.
A puncture on a ghat road, a room that isn't ready, a flight that moves. You call one number, and someone who knows your itinerary by name sorts it out while you're still standing there.

The people behind it
We work out of Ponkunnam and Pala in Kottayam, with our own people in Adimali, Idukki and Kochi — which is why we can tell you which road is washed out this week and which homestay is worth the detour.
Most of our drivers have been with us for years. They're the ones we'd put our own parents in a vehicle with, which is more or less the standard we apply. We'll plan with you in English, Malayalam or Hindi — whichever is easier for you.
I've never advertised much. Almost everyone who calls us was sent by someone we'd already taken somewhere. That's a good business to be in — it means the only marketing that works is doing the job properly the first time.
Straight talk
We're not it. We quote what things actually cost, including the parts other quotes leave out until later.
Ours take a few hours, because a person builds each one. If you need something instant, a booking site will serve you better.
We'll always want one short conversation before we plan. It's the difference between a trip that fits you and a trip that fits the season.
And if none of that bothers you — we'll get on well.
Send us where you'd like to go, your dates, and who's coming. You'll get a proper day-by-day itinerary and one all-in price — usually within a couple of hours. Free, and with nothing to sign.
Ponkunnam · Pala · Kottayam · Adimali · Idukki · Kochi — or wherever you happen to be calling from.
